Overview
In this role you will lead the advisory Compliance Program for Markets in scope and oversee risk-based compliance across EU and overseas jurisdictions. You’ll collaborate with business teams to implement regulatory changes, review new regulations, and guide remedial actions. You’ll engage with regulators and industry discussions, shaping policies and training to ensure robust compliance. This is a hands-on, high-impact position within the Global Markets Compliance team in Germany.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Deliver the advisory Compliance Program for the in-scope business units
- Support the completion of the oversight program and identify/regress risks impacting delivery
- Independently conduct complex tasks to support business unit goals
- Provide regulatory advice for the Markets product suite across the EU and overseas jurisdictions
- Review impact of new regulations and implement changes in collaboration with impacted areas
- Engage in advocacy and industry discussions; interpret policies and regulations
- Provide challenge to the business on regulatory adherence and communicate required actions to senior management
- Identify and escalate breaches and assist in remedial actions
- Draft and maintain policies, procedures and related trainings
- Cooperate with Global Markets, Global Treasury and Global Credit Finance Compliance teams
- Review new business initiatives, RFPs and marketing materials for regulatory compliance
- Prepare for regulatory and third-party examinations and lead interactions with regulators
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in financial services, preferably in compliance or legal
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree, legal studies or related experience preferred
- Strong regulatory understanding (MaRisk, MaComp, MiFID, MAR) and EU implementation
- Solid understanding of policies, procedures and controls
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
