Your role

• Lead and develop a team of industry analysts focused on market sizing and analysis within our Statista+ research unit, ensuring high‑quality strategic market analysis and thought leadership.
• Consult and guide clients through multi‑method, tailored research projects, providing clear recommendations and strategic insights that drive their business decisions.
• Design the optimal research approach in collaboration with cross‑functional experts, and present, align, and refine proposals directly with clients.
• Continuously coach and upskill team members, fostering individual growth and ensuring the team meets evolving market and client needs.
• Apply, refine, and advance our portfolio of research methodologies to consistently deliver innovative, high‑value solutions that exceed client expectations.
• Drive strategic initiatives that strengthen your team’s performance and contribute to the overall development and positioning of the Statista+ unit.

Your profile

• Degree in economics, business, or a related analytical field, ideally at Master’s level.
• 3–5 years of experience in market research or strategic market analysis, including client‑facing project work.
• Proven leadership skills with experience coaching and developing team members.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, with excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint.
• High client orientation, structured working style, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
• Curiosity for innovation in research methods and a strong affinity for AI‑driven tools and approaches.
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken, to work effectively with clients and internal teams.
