We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for our 132 room Aparthotel opening soon, nestled in the heart of Vienna’s historic Bauernmarkt. Deliver daily, weekly and monthly safety checks as well as ensuring everything is in working order in the apartments and public areas, Supervises and takes part in preventive and curative maintenance of the premises and equipment while promoting and contributing to setting up internal measures for the protection of the environment Manages stocks and purchasing of equipment and supplies for the department Assist the General Hotel Manager in drawing up budgets for maintenance and capital investment Approve work being performed and ensures that costs are reasonable and in line with budgets Ensure compliance with current safety procedures, and controlling the condition of the building, technical equipment and all safety and alarm systems in the residence Ensure that all potential and real hazards are reported and reduced immediately Required Skills and Experience Previous knowledge of maintenance, safety, health and the environment in a similar environment or property/hotel (3+ years minimum is required) Attention to detail and ability to self-organise Ability to manage team members Ability to communicate with all members of the team and guests If you possess the above knowledge, we’d love to hear from you!
