We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager for our brand new 132 room Aparthotel nestled in the heart of Vienna’s historic Bauernmarkt. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about, and connected to, the local market, with experience working in a similar luxury or lifestyle property. You’ll be helping us to introduce our exceptional Wilde experience to guests, in our first opening in Austria! (CVs in English please) Our new aparthotel is more than just a place to stay; it’s a celebration of all things Vienna. From our open-air courtyard to our sleek speakeasy bar, every corner of Wilde Vienna reflects the city’s unique spirit. Our modern European brasserie blends the rich traditions of Viennese and Austrian classics with bold European favourites. With our provisions deli and shop, we proudly showcase local suppliers and offer the best of Vienna’s food and wine. We respect the heritage of this great city, while adding a touch of contemporary flair. With stunning high ceilings, a welcoming atmosphere, and a commitment to authenticity, we’re creating a space that’s as warm and inviting as Vienna itself. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in Hotel, Aparthotel or Property Sales, the luxury lifestyle segment, along with prior experience working in the Austrian market, and local market knowledge- this is an absolute requirement for this role. Social: You will assist in planning local and national sales activities, network and socialise with the wider teams, and attend trade shows and presentations to promote Wilde and the group portfolio. Communication: An important part of our sales teams is communication. Meeting and speaking with new and existing clients, securing and managing new corporate accounts by building and maintaining professional working relationships. Promotion: Actively and dynamically promote the Wilde brand through sales and marketing activity including promotional road shows and presentations undertaken by the company. What we are looking for Hotel/Aparthotel Sales, Reservations and/or Property Account Management Prior experience working in the Vienna market, and local market knowledge Working knowledge of English and German New business generation Corporate Business Travel, Group and Extended stay segments Knowledge of Sales Force/Opera/IDEAS/Agency360/LinkedIn Sales Navigator Local market and GDS knowledge is preferred Assist with the administration of the day-to-day property mgmt. systems (e.g. Opera/Ideas/SiteMinder/Salesforce – training will be provided!. Providing timely, accurate, competitive quotes on all corporate and long-stay enquiries while striving to maintain maximum profit margin. Maintaining accurate records of all prices, sales, and activity reports. Securing and managing corporate accounts, and group agencies by building and maintaining professional relationships with key bookers. Fiercely proactive with a can-do attitude Relationship Management Customer and local market dynamics/trends Willingness to travel when needed Driving sales activity to generate new business and grow existing business If you possess the ability to navigate through challenges with a blend of kindness and clarity, backed by data-driven decision-making skills, we’d love to hear from you!
