Role Description This is a full-time Atlassian Consultant role in a hybrid work arrangement, based in the Berlin Metropolitan Area with flexibility for partial or full work from home. The Atlassian Consultant will design, configure, and optimize Atlassian tools (such as Jira, Confluence, and related applications) to support project management, service management, and collaboration workflows. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering requirements from stakeholders, translating business needs into scalable Atlassian solutions, and implementing workflows, custom fields, automations, and integrations. The role also involves creating documentation, user guides, and best practices, providing user training and support, and proactively monitoring system performance and security. The consultant will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure that configurations comply with organizational standards and governance.
Qualifications
- Strong experience configuring and administering Atlassian products (e.g., Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence), including workflows, schemes, permissions, and dashboards.
- Proficiency in requirements analysis and solution design, with the ability to translate complex business processes into effective Atlassian configurations and automations.
- Knowledge of integrations and scripting (e.g., REST APIs, automation rules, third-party apps from the Atlassian Marketplace) to extend and optimize tool capabilities.
- Background in project management or agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and familiarity with IT service management practices.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to conduct workshops, training sessions, and clear documentation for diverse user groups.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Relevant academic background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Atlassian certifications (e.g., ACP-120, ACP-620) or similar credentials are highly beneficial.
- Professional fluency in English; German language skills are an advantage.
