Overview We are looking for a Business Analyst / SME Databricks to join a strategic Finance Transformation programme. The role will bridge the gap between business and technology teams, supporting the delivery of finance-related data initiatives and helping define how Databricks can be leveraged to improve reporting, analytics, and business processes.
Key Responsibilities Gather, analyse, and document business requirements from Finance stakeholders. Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and use cases. Identify and define Databricks use cases supporting Finance Transformation objectives. Collaborate with technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery. Support process improvement initiatives and data-driven decision making. Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to align business needs and priorities. Participate in SIT, UAT, defect management, and go-live activities. Prepare business cases, documentation, and implementation recommendations. Work closely with Finance, Data, and Technology teams to ensure solution adoption.
Required Skills & Experience Proven experience as a
Business Analyst
within Finance or Data Transformation programmes. Strong knowledge of
Databricks
and modern data platforms. Experience gathering requirements and writing user stories. Understanding of Finance processes, reporting, and analytics. Experience supporting testing activities including SIT and UAT. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities. Experience working in Agile project environments. Fluency in English.
