At our Marl site, we produce acrylic acid from propene using a technically sophisticated process. Acrylic acid is the starting material for manufacturing our end product, superabsorbent polymers.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Leading and participating in projects for the continuous improvement and optimization of production processes




• Conducting analyses, identifying opportunities for efficiency gains, and evaluating the results




• Continuously generating and tracking cost-saving measures and establishing a sustainable and continuous improvement process




• Developing and maintaining a global visualization software platform for process and quality data




• Increasing the level of digitization by introducing new technologies and integrating them into our workflows




• Cross-departmental collaboration with relevant stakeholders

What You Bring To The Table

• A master’s degree in process engineering, chemistry, or mechanical engineering with a focus on thermodynamics




• At least three years of professional experience




• Experience in process optimization and operational excellence is desirable




• Ability to analyze KPIs and manage performance




• Strong interest in digitalization and related tools




• A results-oriented and structured approach to work




• Strong communication and assertiveness skills in an interdisciplinary production environment




• Fluency in German and English




• Entrepreneurial mindset, a hands-on approach, and the courage to rethink things
