Interim Head of Accounting | PE Backed Manufacturing

Berlin – Hybrid (2/3 days every 2 weeks)

I’m pleased to be partnering with a Private Equity backed global Manufacturing business whose Head Offices are in Berlin, Germany, on their search for an Interim Head of Accounting for a 3 – 6 month contract.

We are looking for a seasoned senior finance professional with approx ~12 years of experience. This individual will play a key role in supporting the finance transformation agenda and act as a strategic partner in driving critical projects.

Key Requirements:

• Strong understanding of German accounting principles and fluent in German to effectively engage with local stakeholders / auditors.
• Proven experience in program or project management, with the ability to lead and deliver finance-related initiatives.

Background in at least some of the following areas:

• Addressing accounting backlogs
• Designing and implementing finance processes
• Offshoring finance operations
• Working with NetSuite
• Internal controls and documentation
• Offshoring / Share Service Centres

Remote working is supported; however, the candidate must be available to visit the Berlin office approximately 2 to 3 days every two weeks.
