We are now looking for a Team Leader Scheduling & Planning for Business Unit Western Europe.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Within our dynamic organization, where Supply Chain is central, the Supply & Demand department is an indispensable link. Here, everything revolves around efficiently and effectively planning production, procurement, and inventory management. As Team Leader Scheduling & Planning, you will take the reins to elevate our planning for both factories to the next level.
As Team Leader Scheduling & Planning, you are responsible for the planning process of our 4 corrugated cardboard machines (GCM) and more than 25 processing machines, producing approximately 2.5 to 3 million units daily with around 500 production personnel. You ensure streamlined production planning, closely collaborating with various internal stakeholders such as Sales, Supply, Demand, Technical Department, Work Preparation, and Production. Your team translates daily product needs into concrete plans, making capacity calculations and optimally utilizing available capacity. This position is carried out during daytime, with availability outside regular working hours desired.
You possess the following competencies:
- Analytical skills: You can distinguish between main and side issues and quickly get to the core of a problem.
- Leadership skills: Leading, motivating, and developing a team of eight employees, namely 2 master planners and 6 Planned Detailed Schedulers.
- Persuasiveness: Your communication skills make the difference when persuading and influencing stakeholders.
- Planning and organizing: You excel in setting goals, priorities, and required actions.
- Collaboration: You thrive in an environment where teamwork and collaboration are essential.
What we are looking for:
- Relevant education and experience in supply chain management, planning, or similar fields
- Proven leadership experience
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Positive mindset with the intention to elevate not only one’s own department but also other departments to a higher level
- Experience with planning software and systems is a plus
