About the Role

As Vessel Performance Manager you will enable clients to control and improve the performance of the vessels with our data and digital tools available. You will also help to manage environmental compliance with e.g. EU MRV, IMO DCS, CII, EU ETS, and FuelEU Maritime. Our solution s-Insight has become the largest Fleet Performance solution globally with a growing fleet of 5,500 vessels from 250+ customers around the globe. We have established our Performance Centers in Hamburg and Singapore. To meet increasing demand, we are searching for an analytically and conceptually strong professional for our team of experts in Europe. You will report to the Head of Fleet Performance Center in Europe.

This position is based in Hamburg or Athens.

Main responsibilities

  • Implement tools and processes for new and existing clients, provide training and enable the clients to be successful in the usage of StormGeo’ s tools
  • Take an active contribution to the decarbonization journey of our clients
  • Monitor customers’ vessels, identify performance differences among vessels and their causes based on client and industry data
  • Analyze noon reporting and sensor data to identify issues and fuel-saving potential
  • Find patterns and draw conclusions on improvement levers for shipping companies based on data analysis
  • Support our sales team in client meetings with expert advice
  • Support our product development in the improvement of our tools and services

Who you are

We expect that you are a Marine Engineering, Nautical Degree, Naval Architect, or have similar education. You might have Experience in the shipping industry on vessel performance, fuel efficiency, or environmental compliance. We think you are motivated by working with clients and in an interdisciplinary team. You have good access to and understanding of modern IT technology and software and have an analytical and a conceptual strong mindset. Colleagues and client personnel on different levels perceive you as inspiring and confident.
