We are looking for a skilled Senior Backend Engineer to join our team at straiv. You\’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining API integrations for our hotel tech platform, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional features.

Key Responsibilities

• Build robust, scalable, and secure API integrations.

• You will support the rollout of new features within our solution.

• Identify and improve application performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Ensure high code quality through best practices like code reviews, testing, and documentation.

• You share your technical knowledge with other developers in the team and thus continuously contribute to the improvement of our solution.

What you bring

• At least 5 years of professional experience in web development using frameworks like Python-Django, Ruby on Rails etc.

• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges.

• Excellent collaboration skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• English fluency.

• A valid work permit for Germany.
