We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our team at straiv. In this role, you\’ll play a key part in developing and maintaining our Guest App. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features that make a real impact in the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, develop, test and release new features in collaboration with the team.
Take a hands-on role in building systems from the ground up, contributing to strategic engineering initiatives as we rebuild our platform.
Continuously improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of our applications.
Ensure high code quality through best practices like code reviews, testing, and documentation.
You share your technical knowledge and guide other developers in the team and thus continuously contribute to the improvement of our solution.

What you bring

Minimum of 4 years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails or Django ; experience with Angular is a plus.
Bonus points for hands-on experience with microservices architecture, AWS, and Docker.
Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to tackling technical challenges.
Excellent collaboration skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
English fluency.
A valid work permit for Germany.
