As a Team Lead Engineering , you will be responsible for driving the engineering success of our product.
What you’ll do:
Technical leadership
- Continuously identify strategic engineering initiatives that will improve our hotel tech platform performance, reliability and scalability.
- Guide the team in designing and implementing scalable and reliable software solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the Product team to prioritize and plan development cycles.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to drive best practices in code quality, testing, and software design.
- Lead and support the team in troubleshooting and optimizing our technology stack.
People Management
- Manage the engineering team: conduct regular 1:1s to provide feedback, set goals, and support team members’ professional growth.
- Foster a positive team environment by addressing concerns, promoting open communication, and encouraging collaboration.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with Product, Design, and Customer Success teams to align engineering priorities with business goals.
- Represent the engineering team’s perspective in strategic discussions to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with our product vision.
What you bring:
- Strong technical knowledge with at least 5 years of experience in software development.
- Familiarity with our technology stack: Angular, Ruby on Rails, HTTP, RestAPI, JavaScript, PostHog, Datadog, JIRA.
- Ideally you have a first leadership experience.
- A people-focused approach , with a dedication to developing team members, fostering trust, and inspiring growth.
- You speak English fluently.
