Embedded Software Engineer to join their satellite software team.
This is a hands-on software engineering role focused on building reliable application-layer software running on an embedded Linux platform.
You\u2019ll work on services, data pipelines, communication between system components, protocol-level software, automated testing, and CI/CD tooling.
This role would suit someone who enjoys writing clean, well-tested software and wants to work close to real hardware without being purely low-level embedded.
Responsibilities
- Building application software on embedded Linux
- Developing services, system-level applications and data pipelines
- Implementing communication between software components
- Supporting automated testing and CI/CD tooling
- Working with hardware-connected systems and embedded engineers
- Supporting protocol-level software for space/embedded systems
Qualifications
- Strong C, C++ or similar systems programming experience
- Linux application software experience
- Python for scripting, tooling or testing
- Experience with testing, automation or CI/CD
- Interest in working close to hardware
- Bonus: Rust, Yocto, Zynq/Xilinx, CCSDS, ECSS, Space Wire, HIL testing, aerospace or satellite experience
