Our client is building the next generation heavy Kickstage, redefining in-space logistics with autonomous spacecraft. Their first mission is an In-Orbit Demonstration: a small satellite class spacecraft performing orbital maneuvers and deploying a payload into a precise target orbit.

They're looking for a Propulsion Fluidics Engineer to own the full spacecraft fluidic architecture. This is a chance to take an entire spacecraft from concept to flight at a pioneering, well funded Swiss space startup.

What you'll do:

  • Size and design the hot gas Main Engine Feed System, concept to flight
  • Size and design the Cold Gas RCS Thruster and Feed System
  • Define propulsion verification and validation methods
  • Design fluidic GSE for testing, validation and launch pad fueling
  • Get hands on in AIT campaigns: troubleshooting, functional tests, environmental test support

What they're looking for:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
  • 2+ years with propellant feed systems, valves and regulators (space, aero or automotive)
  • Strong fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and heat transfer background
  • CAD and fluidics modeling (NX, Python, MATLAB or similar)
  • Hands on experience building and testing prototypes
  • Full time, on site in Switzerland
