I'm working with a European space company developing spacecraft for demanding orbital missions. They're looking for a Telecom Engineer to take ownership of the communications subsystem from early requirements through to integrated, tested flight hardware.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for:
- Building and maintaining RF link budgets across mission phases
- Defining telecom requirements and selecting radios, antennas and other equipment
- Integrating and testing the subsystem with spacecraft and ground segment teams
- Supporting radio licensing and ITU filing activities
You could come from a telecom, RF or communications systems background. The key is that you've worked beyond one component and can connect link performance, hardware decisions and end-to-end testing. Space experience is valuable, but I'm open to relevant experience from other industries.
The role is fully on-site in Switzerland , so you'll need to be based in or open to relocating to the area.
