Overview
In this role, you will lead real estate, facilities, and workplace projects at the Straumann Campus Basel to enable growth, employee experience, and resilience. You will coordinate with landlords, architects, and internal stakeholders to deliver space strategies, relocations, and fit-outs that support hybrid work and wellbeing. You’ll ensure compliance, safety, and efficient operations while driving cost optimization and user adoption. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Manage office expansions, consolidations, relocations, and workplace transformation projects in Uptown
- Oversee all project phases from planning to occupancy and handover
- Coordinate with landlords, architects, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Develop workplace strategies that support hybrid work, engagement, and effectiveness
- Conduct space and occupancy analyses to optimize utilization
- Oversee lease administration, contracts, accruals, and asset management
- Ensure business continuity through transition and swing-space planning
- Lead construction and fit-out projects, manage budgets and timelines
- Coordinate tenders, RFPs, and external service providers
- Monitor execution against standards, designs, and HSE requirements
- Implement change management to ensure user adoption
- Support FM operations concepts and house regulations
- On-call as required
- Collaborate with FM Soft Services and Event Management
- Support health, safety, and wellbeing programs
- Coordinate security-related activities and emergency procedures
- Back up Site Security Lead when needed
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor in Facility Management or related field
- 5+ years in workplace, facilities, or real estate management
- Proven experience leading FM and/or project teams and workplace projects
- Experience in security and FM (hard & soft) and external vendor management
- Strong lease administration, project management, and workplace strategy knowledge
- FMS solutions familiarity
- Knowledge of HSE, business continuity, and crisis management
