Software Test Engineer (f/m/d) in Berlin

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to support the quality, reliability, and performance of our Dental CAD Application. In this role, you will work closely with Product Owners, development teams, and other stakeholders to understand product requirements and define effective testing strategies.

This is a temporary position with a 12-month contract to work in Berlin

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, development teams, and key stakeholders to develop a strong understanding of the Dental CAD Application and its testing objectives.
• Design, execute, maintain, and continuously improve software test cases.
• Take ownership of manual and automated testing activities, ensuring effective execution and clear communication of progress and results.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to testing strategies and planning across functional, integration, and performance testing.
• Identify deviations, defects, and system errors, and analyze them in close partnership with development teams.
• Serve as a key point of contact for Product Owners and the Scrum Team, discussing progress, sharing status updates, providing feedback, and communicating risks or issues requiring attention.
• Escalate technical issues in a timely and appropriate manner.

Your Profile - Qualifications

• University degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; or qualification as a Dental Technician combined with at least five years of professional experience working with dental CAD applications or implant surgery planning software.
• Previous professional experience in software testing or related core activities.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Professional proficiency in German is a plus.
