Key Responsibilities
Lead a sales team of representatives across Switzerland and Austria, ensuring financial and performance objectives are met. Accurately forecast business and build a sustainable, long‑term regional sales pipeline aligned with country and EMEA priorities. Attract, develop, engage and coach a high‑performing sales team, supporting and driving them to accelerate business. Collaborate with Enabling Function teams (Marketing, Medical, Reimbursement, Order‑to‑Cash) to maintain smooth order‑to‑cash processes and deliver high‑value service to customers. Provide strategic communication and feedback to senior management as needed. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key regional and national healthcare systems, key accounts, and influential stakeholders. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics (revenue, activities, conversion rates) and take corrective actions. Act as a senior commercial role model, embracing and enabling change to simplify, scale and innovate. Demonstrate proficiency in leading complex sales cycles, typically six months or longer, with multiple partners and decision‑makers. Contribute to regional business planning, market development initiatives and therapy adoption strategies in collaboration with region and EMEA leadership. Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent commercial and clinical experience. At least 5 years of proven success in a sales and/or commercial leadership role with demonstrable examples of leading others. Experience in advanced strategic account judgement, therapy or patient pathway development, and influence across multidisciplinary stakeholder groups. Track record of achieving and exceeding targets through individual and team performance. Industry knowledge in the Medical Devices sector, particularly within a complex healthcare or theatre environment, is preferred. Experience leading a profit centre and contributing beyond a single territory to broader market or regional objectives. Proficiency in CRM systems and strong MS Office skills. Experience in the Vascular therapy area is preferred. Fluent in English; proficiency in at least one additional local language in the region. Competencies
