We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to streamline and elevate our processes, driving program improvement and optimization within the Amazon Last Mile Expansion business in Germany.
Role Overview
The Senior Program Manager will be proficient with data, automation tools, and SQL/Python to automate processes and increase efficiency. The role involves partnering with station managers and operators to support the launch and expansion of the program across MEU.
About the Program
The Amazon Last Mile Expansion program is a new model supporting speed initiatives and on-demand capacity in the EU. It utilizes a mobile app integrated with advanced logistics systems, enabling operators to onboard, schedule deliveries, and navigate through deliveries with in-app mapping. This innovative approach aims to disrupt traditional logistics practices.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, passionate, analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Comfort working independently, a bias for action, and a proven track record of delivering results are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the launch and expansion of the program across MEU, coordinating with all teams for successful implementation.
- Define future expansion roadmaps to meet broader speed objectives in collaboration with business partners.
- Recommend process changes and utilize project management and stakeholder management skills to develop scalable processes.
- Partner with WW Flex/Last Mile teams to understand challenges and collaborate with tech teams to build automated tooling and solutions.
Daily Activities
Ensure all actions are taken for successful station launches across MEU. Continuously recommend improvements and partner with relevant teams to implement scalable processes.
Qualifications
- Degree (field specified if available)
- Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Proven ability to define and implement process improvements using data and metrics
- Experience in end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership
- Stakeholder management experience at multiple organizational levels
- Process building, project management, and scheduling skills
