Job Overview As a Test Engineer, you plan, control, and execute testing activities for our medical software. Your focus is on manual UI, workflow, and system testing throughout the entire development lifecycle. In addition, you specifically test our algorithms in the field of geometric processing and verify the geometric properties and shapes of the software, as this is a core component of our applications. Zusätzlich testest du gezielt unsere Algorithmen im Bereich Geometrieverarbeitung und überprüfst die geometrischen Eigenschaften und Formen der Software, da dies ein zentraler Bestandteil unserer Anwendungen ist. Responsibilities Test manual UI, workflow, and system throughout the development lifecycle. Verify algorithms in geometric processing, ensuring geometric properties and shapes. Develop test strategies at module, subsystem, and system level; conduct hands‑on testing; ensure software is intuitive, reliable, clinically usable. Operate within development teams and receive technical support from experienced test engineers. Manual testing during sprints and the V experience with requirement/test management tools such as Jama; current documentation in Word/Excel. Experience with test automation tools like Playwright (nice to have). Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and results. Document defects with clear actionable reports. No hardware testing experience required. Methodological Skills ISTQB certification desirable. Experience with agile methods and continuous delivery desirable. Experience in new product development and verification
