Your role
As an Account Manager within the Peripheral Vascular business, you act as a clinical, commercial, and strategic anchor for your region. You drive therapy adoption and sustainable patient pathway development across complex, high‑impact accounts, and serve as a trusted escalation point in sensitive or high‑risk situations. What You Will Do
Clinical leadership & therapy adoption
Act as a senior subject‑matter expert in peripheral and endovascular interventions, shaping, stabilising, and scaling therapy adoption across strategic accounts. Intervene in complex, politically sensitive, or at‑risk situations, removing structural barriers to adoption and restoring execution momentum. Territory strategy & value creation
Translate company and regional strategy into advanced territory action plans, balancing priorities and informed trade‑offs aligned with country objectives. Develop and articulate compelling clinical, operational, and economic value propositions, including complex business cases tailored to senior decision‑makers. Support customers in navigating reimbursement frameworks, economic constraints, and sustainability challenges, particularly in high‑visibility contexts. Patient pathway & network development
Design, refine, and scale patient pathways and inter‑hospital referral networks, ensuring solutions are sustainable, reproducible, and resilient beyond individual accounts. Diagnose complex clinical, organisational, and commercial challenges using incomplete or ambiguous information, escalating systemic issues when appropriate. Execution excellence & influence
Support complex clinical activity, including proctored cases and work in high‑acuity clinical environments, ensuring safe and consistent use of therapies. Provide leadership through influence by mentoring and coaching Associate Account Managers, raising execution quality and decision‑making capability. Contribute to in‑field training, onboarding, and development initiatives in partnership with the Education team. Collaborate closely with sales leadership and cross‑functional partners to ensure aligned execution and effective escalation. Under defined circumstances, act on behalf of the Regional Sales Manager or Country Manager for delegated initiatives or coordination activities. Operational discipline
Maintain accurate reporting, disciplined territory management, and high‑quality documentation in internal systems. Deliver senior‑level training, presentations, and strategic updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Represent Stryker as a credible and trusted senior ambassador, consistently upholding our values and reputation. What You Bring
Expertise & credibility
Advanced expertise in peripheral vascular and endovascular therapies, acute patient pathways, and hospital workflows. Strong system‑level understanding of healthcare economics, reimbursement environments, and long‑term therapy sustainability. Judgment & autonomy
Proven ability to operate independently with sound strategic judgment, accountability, and decision‑making under ambiguity. Influence & communication
Exceptional ability to influence senior clinical, administrative, and executive stakeholders without formal authority. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with credibility at senior external and internal levels. Leadership & resilience
Demonstrated mentoring and coaching capability, with the ability to elevate team performance. High level of emotional maturity, resilience, and professionalism in high‑pressure clinical environments. Strong organisational discipline across multiple complex priorities. Experience & Education
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent commercial and clinical experience. Minimum six years of experience in medical device sales, clinical support, or therapy development within complex hospital environments. Experience in advanced or acute clinical settings (e.g. endovascular, cath lab, OR, ICU, emergency care). Proven success in strategic account management, therapy development, and multidisciplinary stakeholder engagement. All required certifications and vendor credentials must be maintained. Working conditions
Extended periods of computer use; prolonged sitting or standing, including time in heavy lead protection.
