Working in part of Stryker’s Peripheral Vascular division, a unique opportunity has arisen for a motivated, driven, and successful Regional Sales Manager to lead a team of Sales Representatives across Switzerland and Austria. Key Responsibilities
Accurately forecast business and drive a sustainable, long‑term regional sales pipeline aligned with country and EMEA priorities.
Attract, develop, engage and lead a high performing sales team, supporting and driving them to accelerate business.
Support and collaborate with our Enabling Function teams (Marketing, Medical, Reimbursement, Order‑to‑Cash) to ensure a smooth Order to Cash process is maintained and our customers receive the highest levels of service.
Ensure positive and detailed account communication between the team and other in‑house teams, providing feedback and insights to senior management as required.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key regional and national healthcare systems, key accounts, and influential stakeholders.
Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics (revenue, activities, conversion rates) and take corrective actions as necessary.
Embrace & enable change to simplify, scale & innovate, acting as a senior commercial role model within the region.
Demonstrate proficiency in leading complex sales cycles typically defined as six months or longer with multiple partners, decision‑makers, and influencers at multiple levels.
Provide input into regional business planning, market development initiatives, and therapy adoption strategies in collaboration with region and EMEA leadership.
Other Information This role will require approximately 50‑70% of travel to attend customer sites, along with travel to local, national, and EMEA meetings as required.
Education & special trainings Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field or equivalent commercial and clinical experience.
Location Job holder must be located in Switzerland or Austria.
Experience
Proven success over at least 5 years within a sales and/or commercial leadership role with demonstrable examples of leading others.
Demonstrated success in roles requiring advanced strategic account judgment, therapy or patient pathway development, and influence across multidisciplinary stakeholder groups.
A strong track record of achieving and exceeding targets through individual and team performance.
Ideally product and sales knowledge in the Medical Devices sector, or experience within a complex healthcare or theatre environment.
Commercial skills in leading a profit centre, with experience contributing beyond a single territory to broader market or regional objectives.
Experience using CRM systems and strong MS Office skills.
Experience in the Vascular therapy area is preferred.
