Role overview
The Senior Vice President of Platform Delivery leads the enterprise-wide strategy, execution, and operational discipline behind technology platforms and delivery functions. Reporting into the executive team, this role partners with engineering, product, security, operations, and business leadership to ensure platforms remain scalable, secure, and aligned with strategic priorities. It is a hands‑on executive position suited to a leader who can balance transformation programs with day‑to‑day operational reliability across global teams.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the platform delivery roadmap, aligning technology investments with business outcomes, scalability goals, and innovation priorities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of platforms, applications, and infrastructure services, including large-scale transformation, modernization, and cloud migration initiatives
- Champion Agile, DevOps, CI/CD, and platform engineering practices to improve delivery predictability, quality, and performance against timelines and budgets
- Build, mentor, and structure high‑performing global organizations across engineering, platform operations, and delivery management, including succession planning and leadership development
- Serve as a senior advisor to the executive team on delivery performance, partnering with product management and key technology partners to align capabilities and priorities
- Own governance for security, availability, resilience, regulatory compliance, disaster recovery, business continuity, and incident response, while managing multimillion‑dollar operating and capital budgets and vendor negotiations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in technology delivery, engineering, or platform operations
- 8+ years in senior executive roles managing large-scale global teams and complex enterprise portfolios
- Demonstrated success delivering enterprise platforms and digital transformation programs
- Deep expertise in cloud technologies, platform engineering, DevOps, Agile methodologies, and modern software delivery
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field
- Background leading SaaS, cloud‑native, or enterprise software organizations
- Relevant cloud, Agile, or project management certifications (AWS, Azure, SAFe, PMP, ITIL, or equivalent)
- Experience operating within high-growth technology environments
