As a key member of our motivated team, you will be working within the bank’s Custody, Reporting & Regulatory Services division.Your roleYour responsibilities include the following:Lead cash operations (withdrawals, deposits and foreign exchange) for the Zurich and Basel branches, in line with internal controls and with an excellent level of serviceSupervise the central cash fund, monitor currency stock levels and ensure the smooth operation and replenishment of ATMsOrganise and support the team (planning, coaching, performance follow-up, recruitment where needed)Oversee the handling of physical securities, precious metals, coins and cheques, as well as the coordination of cash and valuables transportEnsure proper management of safe deposit boxes for clients and employees (processes and controls)Maintain and update procedures, supporting effective internal controlsYour profileCompleted commercial apprenticeship, ideally complemented by further education in banking/finance or equivalentSignificant experience (minimum 5–8 years) in a banking environment, including exposure to cash/treasury operations, central funds and physical securities handlingProven experience in managing an operational teamVery good understanding of operational risks and regulations related to cash activitiesComfortable working with demanding high-end clientele and senior internal stakeholdersStrong leadership, ability to federate teams, take decisions and manage prioritiesStrong IT skills and proficiency in common office applicationsFluent in German and English; French is a plusNoteWe will not accept any CVs via agenciesDiversity & InclusionPictet is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating a diverse environment.
