In this key position, you will take responsibility for our institutional fundraising and further develop this area. With your strategic thinking, your initiative, and your commitment to sustainable partnerships, you will make a significant contribution to the long-term financing of our tasks.You will be responsible for our institutional fundraising independently and work closely with our specialist departments. Your tasks include in particular:- Further development and implementation of the fundraising strategy- Identification of new funding opportunities at foundations, public institutions, and other funding partners- Establishment, maintenance, and further development of long-term partnerships with funding institutions- Drafting of convincing grant applications, project descriptions, and reports as well as support for the entire funding process- Analysis of existing activities and development of new approaches for the further development of institutional fundraising- Close cooperation with the specialist departments for the successful positioning of our projects with funding institutions- Monitoring of relevant developments in the fundraising sector and identification of new financing opportunitiesWhat you bring with youYou have sound experience in fundraising and would like to contribute your skills to an organization with social impact.Ideally, you bring the following:- Several years of professional experience in fundraising, preferably in the non-profit sector or foundation sector- Knowledge of the Swiss funding landscape as well as experience in maintaining relationships with funding institutions; an existing network is an advantage- Experience in the successful acquisition of institutional funding- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working- Distinct communication and negotiation skills as well as a convincing demeanor- Enjoyment of taking responsibility, recognizing opportunities, and successfully implementing new ideas- German at a native level (ideally Swiss German) as well as very good knowledge of French (at least level B2)What awaits you with usYou will take on a responsible function with plenty of creative freedom and manage an important area independently.
