Job Summary:

The role will be responsible for supervising staff in all aspects of restaurant operations and service; ensuring that orders are accurately prepared and delivered timely according to company standards. Ensure that guest checks are handled accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Principal Accountabilities:
  • Assist and supervise the operation of the restaurant and ensure that service is prompt, professional, and courteous, to the standard laid down by the Company.
  • Ensure that waiters are always correctly and smartly dressed, offering professional and courteous service to customers.
  • Monitor the quality, quantity, and presentation of food & beverage served to customers.
  • Ensure that hygiene standards comply with company and statutory requirements.
  • Provide training and motivate employees in maintaining company standards.
  • Delegate tasks to employees and ensure they are carried out accordingly.
  • Ensure that all stocks and supplies are timely requested, correct stock levels maintained, and stored under optimum conditions.
  • STAFFING
  • Report to Restaurant Manager any cases of staff grievance.
  • Report to Restaurant Manager any accident, theft, burglary, or fire.
  • Carry out or ensure that regular on-the-job training is taking place to agreed standards.
  • Attend training courses as required, such as HACCP courses (Kursus Pengendali Makanan, Awareness Training Program, Internal Audit Training) and other training courses as required.
  • HYGIENE / SANITATION / UNIFORMS
  • Ensure that waiters are always correctly and smartly dressed, offering professional and courteous service to customers.
  • Ensure that all staff adhere to the company’s uniform standards.
  • Maintain hygiene standards of personal hygiene and dress.
  • FIRE SAFETY & SECURITY PROCEDURE
  • Participate in any fire or evacuation drills and ensure complete familiarization with all exits, including those normally used by customers, as well as fire escapes.
  • OTHERS
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by superior.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000 – RM3,500.00 per month
