Business Development Representative – German speaker

We are looking for a talented, energetic, and driven individual to join our team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) supporting the EMEA sales team at SugarCRM in Solihull. Your primary responsibility will be to be the first point of contact for potential clients, sparking interest in SugarCRM\’s solutions.

Your role involves building rapport through phone calls, emails, and social channels, working closely with the sales team to qualify leads and ensure their progression through the sales funnel. You will gather key information to update our CRM system and define next steps for sales or marketing nurture paths.

Impact you will make in the role:

  • Manage lead development for the DACH region
  • Research accounts to understand needs, enabling effective follow-up and generating interest
  • Qualify inbound marketing leads in detail
  • Proactively prospect target key accounts with the sales team
  • Overcome prospect objections successfully
  • Build relationships and communicate effectively with the sales team and management
  • Stay current on SugarCRM products and solutions
  • Identify opportunities to improve lead management processes
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records in the CRM system

Expertise you will bring:

  • At least 1 year of experience with value-based selling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in German and English
  • Professional, determined, results-oriented, and a positive attitude
  • Team-oriented and a self-starter
  • Ability to assess lead qualification based on established criteria
  • Comfortable learning new software applications

Preferred qualifications:

  • Fluency in multiple languages is a plus, with proficiency in German and English required
  • Experience with SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, or similar tools is advantageous

The salary range shown is the base pay. Total compensation includes commission, depending on experience.
