Senior Mechanical Engineer - Germany

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join Suir Engineering Ltd on a Data Center project in Berlin, Germany.

What you will be doing?

• Ensure that all mechanical construction works are carried out in accordance with specifications.
• Co-ordination with Design Team to ensure design is complete as per contract milestones.
• Prepare detailed technical submittals for approval.
• Work to agreed standards and documentation required to implement them.
• Vendor / Contractor management on site.
• Lead procurement of all mechanical equipment.
• Ensure test packs are completed and up to spec.
• Prepare and conduct piping hydro/pneumatic testing works as per QC requirements.

Is this the job for me?

Suitable candidates must have a Mechanical Trade or Mechanical Engineering Qualification as a minimum, together with at least 10 years’ experience in the construction industry.

• Piping & HVAC experience.
• Organised individual with a constant focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
• Experience in the construction industry would be an advantage.
• Fluent English with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills, particularly in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office packages.
