About the Role As part of its development, Sumi Agro Germany is now looking for a HEAD OF OPERATIONS – GERMANY (W/M – Munich area) to lead and coordinate all sales and marketing operations in the German market, aligning business processes to deliver growth, efficiency, and compliance with local regulations. Leading a team of 7–8 people, the Head of Operations will be responsible for ensuring commercial success, implementing strategy, and driving further growth. This role offers significant exposure within the Group and strong potential to grow. Build trustfull and long‑term relationships with customers (distributors & farmers) Implement commercial strategies to strengthen market share. Drive growth and efficiency in all sales activities. Anticipate and adapt to agricultural market trends. Identify and seize new opportunities for expansion. Mission II – Marketing (30%) Define the vision for marketing initiatives aligned with business goals. Promote the company’s products in line with farmer and distributor needs. Leverage digital tools and channels to reach and influence the market. Strengthen company branding in the German agricultural sector. Provide strategic direction and align the team with Group objectives. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Invest in people through coaching, mentoring, and skills development. Build and manage a diverse, high‑performing team. Deliver added value to customers, employees, and the company. Qualifications and Experience Agri/Agro engineer or Business Degree (or equivalent). At least 7 years’ experience, including 5 years in the German agribusiness with P&L responsibility. Proven track record of double‑digit sales growth. Fluent in German and English. Solid leadership experience in sales and marketing roles. Good command of IT tools; driving license and willingness to travel. Abilities & Behaviour Strong communication and leadership skills. Strategic thinker and achiever. Team player with operational excellence. Proactive, innovative, and result‑oriented. Experience in multinational company environments is a plus.
