Main Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and administer the IT landscape (Windows / Linux servers / applications)
• Administer (virtual) servers, server landscapes including software, operating systems, backups, and databases
• Virtualization with VMWare (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi) and MS Hyper-V, including management of the existing environment
• Manage storage and backup systems (HPE and Veeam)
• Plan, design, and administer network infrastructure and security (LAN, WLAN, WAN, NAC, firewall, routing, switching, VPN)
• Analyze problems, troubleshoot, and support network and server infrastructure issues (Change and Incident Management)
• Manage Active Directory users and permissions
• Administer Mobile Device Management (Workspace ONE)

Qualifications

• Completed studies in (business) informatics and/or training as an IT specialist (m/w/d) for system integration or comparable qualification
• Solid knowledge in server landscapes, storage, and virtualization
• Good knowledge in firewalling
• Basic knowledge in IT and network security, NAC, and 802.1x authentication
• Professional experience in managing Windows client/server environments and Active Directory
• Good English skills are required
• Experience in project management
• Independent working style, flexibility, high commitment, and customer orientation
• Willingness to travel to our sales and service subsidiaries abroad is a plus
