We are currently searching for an Oracle Database Consultant on a permanent basis for one of our clients in technology consulting, working in a hybrid set-up. Locations can be Basel, Bern, or Zürich.
As a part of the team, you will be the go-to consultant for clients across different industries to advise and support them on their Oracle Database projects.
Your main tasks will be:
- Deploy and install new Oracle database infrastructure
- Install, maintain, administer, and patch Oracle appliance bare-metal systems with virtualization technology
- Migrate databases between on-premises and cloud environments
- Patch and update databases, using Ansible for large-scale patching
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues through analysis and optimization
- Administer and troubleshoot Oracle databases, including user support
- Develop shell scripts, SQL, and PL/SQL scripts
To enjoy this job, you should have/be:
- Strong Oracle Database experience as a DBA or Consultant.
- Experience with Oracle Tuning and RMAN.
- Experience with deployment and configuration of High availability databases.
- Fluent German (C1) is a must and proficient in English.
