Your role
We are looking for a Sourcing Specialist – Sport & Lifestyle Ingredients to drive innovation through strategic global sourcing and supplier partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding high-quality raw materials across dynamic categories such as plant-based proteins, cacao, superfoods, and nuts. You will manage the full sourcing cycle – from supplier scouting and sampling to negotiation and long-term relationship building – while ensuring agility in volatile global markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the sourcing process for the Sport & Lifestyle ingredient category – turning global supply opportunities into tangible product innovation
- Lead structured sampling and validation processes in close collaboration with Product Development and Quality teams
- Monitor volatile markets and implement strategic negotiation frameworks to ensure competitive pricing and supply security
- Build and manage a global supplier ecosystem, focusing on reliability, sustainability, and compliance beyond cost factors
- Negotiate and draft contracts with clear safeguards, balancing long-term partnerships with opportunistic sourcing strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate product briefs into sourcing roadmaps and execution plans
Your profile
We are looking for a candidate with:
- International sourcing experience in the food, supplement, or nutraceutical industry, ideally focused on sport and wellness-related ingredients / raw materials
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Biochemistry, Food Science, or related technical field
- Proven expertise in procurement strategy, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management in volatile and quality-sensitive markets
- Strong commercial acumen combined with a structured, detail-oriented approach to complex material evaluation
- Familiarity with EU/global regulatory and sustainability standards in raw material sourcing
- Proactive, resourceful, and hands-on mindset, with the ability to inspire trust and drive results across internal teams and external partners
