Job Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the roadmap and strategy for our retail APIs in alignment with SunExpress’s digital and commercial goals.
- Ensure API designs consider scalability, availability, rate limiting, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and authorization.
- Facilitate integration with key systems such as POS, inventory management, CRM, and payment platforms.
- Define and track API performance metrics (e.g., latency, uptime, error rates), driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Use Postman to create and maintain collections for functional, security, and performance testing.
- Monitor API health and usage metrics using tools like Postman Monitors, Datadog, or New Relic.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Solution Owner, or equivalent role focused on APIs or technical products.
- Ability to own and manage the product backlog; write and prioritize user stories that guide engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, SOAP, GraphQL, and web service architecture.
- Experience with Postman for API testing, automation, and performance monitoring.
- Familiarity with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway).
- Domain experience in retail, travel & leisure, or commercial aviation is a strong advantage.
- Excellent English communication skills and the ability to work across business and technical teams.
