Your mission
Key Respnsibilities:
- Requirement analysis and solution design: Develop a deep understanding of overseas customer scenarios (CPOs, energy companies, fleet operators, distributors, government projects) and independently deliver charger selection and configuration, site planning, grid connection schemes, and ROI/TCO models.
- Technical engagement and product evangelism: Deliver product demonstrations, technical workshops, and solution presentations to overseas customers in English; represent the company at international exhibitions, customer visits, and technical seminars.
- Tender and bid support: Own technical proposal writing, technical clarifications, and compliance responses for overseas tenders, directly supporting bid win rates.
- Localization and compliance alignment: Apply working knowledge of target-market certification and standards (CE, TUV, OCPP 1.6/2.0.1, ISO 15118, CCS2, ); coordinate with R&D and certification teams on product localization assessments.
- Competitive intelligence: Track overseas product and commercial moves of key competitors (Huawei, ABB, Siemens, Alpitronic, Tesla, etc.); produce competitive comparison reports and differentiated sales strategies, including air-cooled vs. liquid-cooled TCO analysis.
- Enablement: Train overseas sales teams and channel partners on products and technologies; consolidate market feedback to inform product planning and R&D roadmaps.
- Delivery handover: Coordinate with delivery and after-sales teams on solution handover, ensuring alignment between pre-sales commitments and delivery capability, and managing solution risk.
Your profile
- Education: Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Automation, New Energy, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 3+ years of pre-sales or technical support experience in EV charging, energy storage, PV inverters, or power electronics, including at least 1 year supporting overseas markets.
- Language: Full professional proficiency in English C1 (fluent spoken English for customer-facing technical discussions and bid writing); additional languages (Spanish, German, French, Arabic) are a strong plus.
- Technical knowledge: Solid grasp of core EV charging technologies: charging modules, power-sharing (charging stack) architectures, air-cooled and liquid-cooled thermal designs, OCPP communication protocols, and grid/power distribution interconnection.
- Deliverables: Proven ability to independently produce pre-sales materials: solution decks, technical white papers, ROI/TCO models, and tender documents.
- Competencies: Customer-centric mindset - designs solutions around the customer's business model (site ROI, utilization, tariff structures) rather than product specs alone; strong cross-cultural communication skills; comfortable with overseas time zones and frequent travel; results-oriented and accountable for win rates in close partnership with sales.
- Hands-on experience with deployed charging infrastructure projects in Europe, the Middle East, or Southeast Asia.
- Familiarity with overseas grid connection procedures and power market rules (European grid codes, time-of-use tariffs, demand response mechanisms).
- Pre-sales experience with integrated PV-storage-charging, storage-backed charging, or heavy-duty truck ultra-fast charging scenarios.
- PMP, chartered electrical engineer, or equivalent certifications.
- Background at leading charging companies (Huawei Digital Power, TELD, StarCharge, ABB, or similar).
