Job Title: Data Center Project Manager
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months contract
Job Summary
Seeking experienced Data Center Project Managers to lead technical infrastructure projects involving data center moves, consolidations, migrations, asset management, and decommissioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage data center move, migration, consolidation, and decommissioning projects.
- Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and status reports.
- Coordinate network, storage, server, infrastructure, facilities, and vendor teams.
- Manage IT asset inventory, relocation, lifecycle tracking, and disposition.
- Coordinate network and storage infrastructure activities during data center projects.
- Track issues, risks, dependencies, deliverables, and project timelines.
- Communicate project status and risks to technical and business stakeholders.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure successful project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Strong Technical/IT Project Management experience.
- ITIL and PMP certification will be a plus.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, planning, and risk management skills.
Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $45.00-$55.00 per hour.
