You will lead a team of 10 specialists to address some of Sunrise’s most critical business challenges, applying rigorous analysis guided by pragmatic judgment to ensure decisions are both well‑found and actionable. As a leader, you will act as a coach, translator, builder, and strategist, shaping how data informs decisions across the organization. /p h3Your challenge /h3 ul liLead and develop the Data Science Analytics team, including coaching, capability building, and people development /li liDefine what good looks like for Data Science Analytics by setting standards and best practices, supported by playbooks, training materials, and delivery frameworks /li liEnsure high‑quality delivery across Data Science Analytics contributions in a matrix setup /li liPartner closely with product owners, business stakeholders, and senior leaders to translate business questions into analytical problems, and turn insights into decisions /li liSupport high‑value decisions through analytics, experimentation, impact measurement, and advanced analytical methods such as causal inference – bringing rigorous evidence and constructive challenge to the company’s most important questions /li liBuild a community for data‑driven decision‑making across Sunrise by driving knowledge exchange, promoting best practices, and raising analytical fluency across the organization /li /ul h3Your skills /h3 ul liProven people leadership experience, including line management, coaching, and developing high‑performing teams /li liStrong expertise in advanced analytics for decisioning, ideally including causal inference, experimentation, impact measurement, and related statistical methods, supported by an advanced degree in a STEM field, economics, business informatics, or similar /li liDeep hands‑on analytics coding skills, ideally in both Python and R, with the ability to guide others on methodological and technical quality /li liExcellent advisory and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders credibly, constructively challenge assumptions, and turn analysis into decisions /li liStrong business acumen and the ability to focus teams on the work that creates the highest return on investment /li liA pragmatic consulting mindset paired with strong delivery focus and sound judgment /li liFluency in English; German advantageous /li /ul pAt Sunrise, you’ll be working in a dynamic and multinational environment where every voice is heard, perspectives are shared and values are lived.
