(Senior) Frontend Engineer (m/f/d) Berlin

What you\’ll do:

• You develop and implement new features for our web applications and packages
• You maintain, optimize, and improve our existing codebase
• You work closely with backend engineers and designers to create seamless user experiences
• You take full ownership of features from implementation to deployment
• You bring in your own ideas to shape and enhance our product

What you\’ll bring:

• You have 2+ years of experience in frontend development with TypeScript and React, Vue, Svelte or a similar framework
• You have built and maintained mid-to-large-scale web applications and are highly proficient in HTML, CSS and modern web development best practices
• You have advanced proficiency in TypeScript, including familiarity with utility types (Pick, Omit, Partial, Record), generics, conditional types, and type inference patterns to build robust, type-safe applications
• You have a strong eye for UX/UI and can translate designs into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces
• You are professionally fluent in written and spoken English
• Typescript / React / NextJS / React-Query / Storybook / TailwindCSS for our web application
• GitHub Actions for CI/CD
• DataDog / Sentry / BetterUptime to monitor our services
• Typescript and React Native for our mobile application
• Kotlin with Quarkus for our backend
• AWS: RDS with Postgres, S3, SQS, SNS, SES, Lambda, CloudFront, OpenSearch

This is an on-site role in Berlin. We are offering a hybrid model with 2 days home office per week.

Hiring Process

1. Screening Call – We look forward to scheduling a 15‑minute call with you to get to know each other, discuss the cultural fit, and introduce you to your opportunities at Superchat in more detail.
2. Interview with Hiring Manager – A 20‑minute conversation with your future hiring manager to learn more about your experience and skills and give you deeper insight into the daily tasks and expectations of this position.
3. Case Study – Work on a case study in a one‑hour visit to our office, where you can personally meet your future team and other important people.
4. Final – Once everything fits, we will finalize the contract and provide you with all the necessary information.
