We are seeking an experienced Global Commodity Manager – Electronics, EMS & Semiconductors to lead strategic procurement initiatives for cutting-edge industrial projects. This role is pivotal in driving supplier partnerships, optimizing costs, and ensuring supply chain resilience across global markets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for electronics, EMS, and semiconductor categories, aligning with business objectives.
2. Manage a global procurement budget exceeding €300 million, ensuring cost optimization and value creation.
3. Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and risk management for critical electronic components and semiconductor supplies.
4. Drive supplier innovation and collaboration to support advanced manufacturing, automation, and digitalization initiatives.
5. Conduct market intelligence to identify emerging suppliers, mitigate risks, and ensure supply continuity.
6. Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and production teams to align procurement strategies with technical requirements.
7. Establish long-term partnerships with key suppliers to enhance quality, sustainability, and technological advancements.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, or a related field (advanced qualifications preferred).
2. 5-10 years of experience in procurement, preferably within electronics, EMS, or semiconductor sectors.
3. Proven experience managing procurement for global projects and technical manufacturing environments.
4. Strong negotiation skills with a focus on supplier development and strategic sourcing.
5. Familiarity with semiconductor supply chains, EMS trends, and electronic component sourcing.
6. Fluency in German and English (written and verbal).
