We are looking for an experienced Project Procurement Manager to drive procurement excellence in large-scale EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction), industrial facilities, and advanced equipment manufacturing projects. Operating across Germany and globally , this role is central to optimizing procurement strategies, managing high-value budgets, and fostering innovation-driven supplier partnerships to support cutting-edge industrial developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead procurement for complex engineering, infrastructure, and industrial manufacturing projects , ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Manage a €150 million global procurement budget , optimizing costs and enhancing supplier value creation.
- Oversee EPC procurement processes , including contracting, risk management, supplier negotiations, and performance monitoring .
- Conduct market intelligence analysis to identify emerging suppliers, mitigate risks, and drive supply chain innovation .
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure supply continuity and support project milestones .
- Foster long-term supplier partnerships to drive technological advancements, sustainability, and digitalization in procurement.
- Continuously improve procurement frameworks, tools, and best practices to enhance efficiency and project success.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, or a related field (advanced qualifications preferred).
- 5-10 years of experience in procurement for EPC, industrial services, construction, or manufacturing .
- Proven track record in greenfield project launches or transformational industrial initiatives .
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills, with a history of driving procurement innovation and efficiency .
- Fluency in German and English (written and verbal).
