They operate a comprehensive financial portal, offering real-time and historical stock market data, news, and analytical tools for individual investors. This platform also features a vast database for certificates, leveraged products, and funds, alongside an active moderated forum for community interaction.
Beyond their public portal, this client is a key provider of financial data and web services to third parties. They license a broad spectrum of financial data, including price data, master data, and fundamental figures, to a wide range of financial service providers, brokers, and asset managers. They also develop and integrate various financial tools like portfolio and charting widgets, making them a crucial technical partner for numerous institutions in the German financial sector.
They are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Web Developer to join their dynamic team.
Location: Berlin, Hybrid – up to 2 days/week remote
Contract Type: Full-time, permanent (40h/week; part-time from 30h possible)
Vacation: 30 days
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Full-Stack Web Developer, you will:

Rebuild an existing legacy product from scratch ("greenfield")

Collaborate with designers, SEO experts, and leadership on product vision

Develop and maintain frontend and backend functionality

Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code

Implement features that directly impact user experience

Participate in sprints, code reviews, and agile ceremonies
Must-Have Skills

5+ years experience in full-stack development

Strong in: PHP 8.4, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, MySQL

Good command of both German (B2) and English (B2).

Possess a confident, communicative, and team-oriented approach.
Nice-to-Have Skills

Symfony, or similar: Laravel, Drupal

Financial markets/stock trading knowledge
