Senior Specialist Design and Electronics (f/m/d)

To support our team at the company headquarters in Gilching, we are looking for a dedicated Senior Specialist Design and Electronics (f/m/d).

Your future tasks:

• Project management for camera development projects and coordination of electronics development and design.
• Creation and review of requirements for design, functionality, thermal management, mountability and costs for our cameras.
• Execution of development accompanying examinations and tests as well as thermal simulation and optimization.
• Ensuring compliance with EMC and environmental requirements.
• Modeling and design of mechanical components for the cameras.
• Building prototypes within the development department for validation and optimization of new technologies.
• Transfer of our products into series production and close cooperation with production and QA department.
• Maintenance of the ERP system and monitoring of project deadlines.
• Maintenance and documentation of inventory data and continuous improvement of processes.

What you bring:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in the development of industrial cameras or similar image processing systems.
• Sound knowledge of electronics development, circuitry and handling of image sensors.
• Design and manufacturing experience to ensure feasibility and practicability of the developed solutions.
• Experience in project management and coordination of development teams.
• Expertise in thermal simulation and optimization of products.
• Confident use of Solidworks and Altium Designer, Confluence & Jira should also be familiar to you.
• Knowledge of EMC and environmental requirements for electronic devices.
• Strong understanding of cost aspects and economic thinking.
• Fit in MS Office programs and an ERP systems.
• Fluent in German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently to effectively collaborate with other departments, develop solutions and work independently.
