Specialist Product Compliance (m/w/d)

For our headquarters in Gilching near Munich, we are currently looking for a dedicated Specialist Product Compliance who will be responsible for ensuring and coordinating product approval in accordance with national and international standards, regulations and legal requirements. As part of our dynamic team, you will help ensure that customers worldwide can use our products with confidence and that the highest safety and quality standards are met.

Your future tasks:

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant national and international compliance standards and regulations for our products
• Definition of requirements for products and processes resulting from product approvals and series monitoring
• Evaluation of our products and documentation with regard to their conformity with the requirements from approvals and market access requirements
• Analysis and evaluation of existing as well as new or amended approval regulations
• Performance and organization of risk analyses and residual risk formulation
• Standardization and development of internal processes to meet legal requirements and preparation of presentations and training materials
• Preparation and drafting of contracts, declarations, forms and the like necessary for the implementation of legal requirements
• Communicate with regulatory agencies, certification bodies, and external partners to obtain and maintain approvals and certificates of compliance
• Work closely with internal teams such as development, production and quality assurance to ensure our products meet required standards
• Conduct patent searches and have knowledge of trademark rights

What you bring:

• Completed studies in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable field or technician with corresponding preliminary training and professional experience in the field
• At least 3 years of professional experience in product approval, certification and/or product conformity
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as RoHS, REACH, SCIP, SVHC, WEEE, and Dodd-Frank Act
• Affinity for regulatory texts and legal product issues and tasks
• Analytical thinking and a structured way of working
• Confident demeanor, commitment, and success orientation
• Fit in MS Office programs
• Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently to effectively collaborate with other departments, develop solutions and work independently
