To support Swappie’s mission of making refurbished electronics mainstream and give our customers the best experience with fast and accurate fulfilment, we are currently looking for an awesome team player to join our Fulfillment Centre as:
TEAM LEAD WAREHOUSE (m/w/d)
In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees who are handling light goods in a warehouse environment at Swappie’s fulfilment site in the Wahren area of Leipzig, Germany.
Your daily tasks will include leading the team, supervising, onboarding, and coordinating your team’s work, and ensuring high quality and productivity in output, shared standards, working processes, and culture. You will be responsible for developing your team members and ways of working.
You will be doing work that is essential for the company and our European customers, great for the environment, and surrounded by a supportive and positive team, fueled by start-up spirit.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON
- Serving as a key member of the management team, contributing to strategic decision-making and organizational leadership.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations and performance and setting clear team goals and KPIs.
- Doing monthly evaluations and communicating with team members about their performance.
- Driving continuous improvement with passion, implementing innovative solutions to enhance processes and elevate team performance.
- Monitoring and motivating team members.
- Discovering training needs and providing coaching material.
- Listening to team members’ feedback and resolving any issues or conflicts.
- Executing planning tasks alongside the planning team.
- Keeping the workflow up and running.
WE WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE
- Previous work experience in fulfilment, warehouse, operations, or manufacturing environment.
- Experience in leading and/or coaching people. It will be seen as an advantage if this experience is in fulfilment, warehouse, operations, or manufacturing environment.
- Proof of a valid working visa in Germany.
- Excellent communication skills in English and at least good German skills.
- Good prioritization skills and willingness to take ownership and responsibility.
- Good technical skills, especially Excel/Google Sheets.
- Flexibility to work in shifts (Monday to Friday).
