Overview
In this role you drive strategic procurement for the SWARCO ITS Division, focusing on indirect materials and services. You will shape the supplier base, negotiate terms, and lead cross‑functional, international initiatives to optimize procurement processes. You’ll advance digitalization and efficiency, while coordinating global projects and long‑term sourcing strategies. This is a hands‑on, impact‑oriented position for someone who wants to influence procurement at scale in a multinational setting.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Identify and onboard new suppliers and partners; optimize the existing supplier portfolio
- Prepare and run requests for proposals (RFPs)
- Lead price and contract negotiations; participate in award decisions and contract execution
- Collaborate with international branches to align strategic procurement activities and implement medium- and long-term strategy
- Optimize procurement processes with emphasis on digitalization and efficiency improvements
- Manage and participate in international purchasing and procurement projects
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Completed commercial studies
- Several years of experience in strategic purchasing, ideally indirect procurement
- Experience with complex or international procurement projects
- Analytical mindset; independent, structured, solution-oriented work approach
- Strong internal customer orientation and service mindset
- Strong negotiation skills; high degree of independence and assertiveness
- Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus
- Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
