Tax Accountant Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Develop and implement comprehensive tax planning strategies to minimize the organization’s tax liability.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations, including federal, state, and local taxes.
• Conduct tax research to identify and resolve complex tax issues.
• Oversee tax audits and manage interactions with tax authorities.
• Prepare financial statements and reports related to taxes.
• Identify opportunities to improve tax processes and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with senior management, finance teams, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in tax accounting, with at least 3 years of supervisory experience.

Tax Expertise:

• Deep knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and best practices.

Leadership:

• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.

Analytical Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Communication:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Certifications:

• CPA or Enrolled Agent required
