About the Role As the Global Tc PCM Enterprise Architect, you are the strategic executive owner and integrator of the Teamcenter Product Cost Management (Tc PCM) platform across HARMAN globally.
You ensure stable enterprise operations, governance, and continuous improvement of product costing workflows, acting as the chair leader between business, IT, and Supplier.
What You Will Do
- Executive global business owner and system Architect for Tc PCM.
- Chair, Define, execute and improve the multi‑year digital product costing platform roadmap.
- Ensure standardized costing processes, data governance, and calculation standards across the board.
- System owner Interface to Engineering, Procurement, Operations, Finance, and IT leadership.
- Strong interface to sourcing and negotiation strategies, enabling fact‑based discussions with suppliers and top management.
- Executive‑level stakeholder management, influencing Product, Engineering, Procurement, Finance, IT, and senior leadership.
- Expert in target costing, should‑costing, and lifecycle cost management, ensuring consistent application from concept phase through SOP and lifecycle management.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and system integrations globally.
- Acts as a senior strategic partner to Engineering, Product, Procurement, Finance, IT, and Program Management, influencing decisions at VP and executive level.
- Strong business acumen to link product design, technology choices, and cost implications to margin and strategy outcomes.
- Governance and standardization leadership, defining global cost rules, KPIs, methodologies, and decision frameworks.
- What You Need to Be Successful
- Master’s or Ph D degree in engineering, digitization, manufacturing, or business‑related fields.
- 10+ years of experience in cost engineering, manufacturing, or product costing.
- Advanced 5+ years proven experience with Tc PCM, Teamcenter and SAP.
- Deep understanding of automotive manufacturing cost structures and product lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ensure sustainable knowledge transfer globally and succession.
- Enterprise ownership of the Tc PCM / Cost360 architecture, defining vision, roadmap, and long‑term evolution across the organization.
- Proven leadership in cost transformation programs, driving cultural and methodological change at executive and global scale.
- Deep mastery of target costing, should‑costing, and lifecycle cost management, applied consistently across portfolios and regions.
- Strategic architecture design for end‑to‑end cost integration, spanning PLM, ERP, sourcing, manufacturing, finance, and analytics platforms.
- Ability to institutionalize digital cost twins, enabling predictive, real‑time and scenario‑based cost transparency.
- Expert knowledge of automotive electronics cost drivers, including semiconductors, PCBA, software content, manufacturing and supply chain dynamics.
- Experience steering large cross‑functional and multinational teams, including architects, cost engineers, and data specialists.
- Advanced analytical and data‑driven mindset, leveraging simulations, scenario modeling and management dashboards for decision support.
- Ability to translate complex cost and technical insights into clear executive narratives for VP, SVP and C‑level audiences.
- Change leadership and talent development skills, building sustainable cost competencies and future leaders.
- Strategic foresight for future market, technology and business model impacts on product cost and value management.
