About the Position
The Web Merchandiser will be based at the EMEA headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Reporting to the eCommerce Merchandising Manager, the role owns the Footwear, Accessories, Youth, and Equipment categories and works closely with buying and consumer experience teams to ensure optimal on‑site commercial performance. Responsibilities
Monitor and drive category performance across all relevant product lines. Review daily performance data, identify strengths and weaknesses, diagnose root causes (traffic, stock, pricing, positioning), and activate corrective actions. Proactively flag opportunities and problems to buying and other stakeholders. Optimize the on‑site customer experience, ensuring hero products, key stories, and merchandising assets are prominently showcased. Audit and refine search, navigation, and category pages to reflect category priorities. Collaborate with the Consumer Experience Specialist to maintain consistent cross‑category navigation. Translate go‑to‑market plans into actionable web merchandising tactics for seasonal and key commercial events. Develop and execute merchandising plans for high‑impact moments such as Black Friday. Act as the digital voice for categories, sharing consumer insights to inform future buying decisions. Build strong working relationships with buying, content, and marketing teams to align merchandising strategy. Qualifications
Solid experience in web merchandising, ideally within a retailer or multi‑brand marketplace environment. Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data and prioritize actions. Experience in eCommerce or digital retail; familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud is a plus. Fluency in English. Proactive, assertive, and data‑driven approach with a strong sense of ownership over deadlines. Comfortable managing multiple priorities and collaborating across teams. Passion for footwear or outdoor products is a plus but not required. Benefits
