Swiss-Green Engineering specialises in photovoltaic energy and energy storage systems (BESS). Founded in 2009 and based in Morat, it designs and markets sustainable energy solutions for individuals and professionals. A subsidiary of the Viteos group - a reference in the energy transition in Romandy, employing nearly 600 people, it relies on a network of certified installer partners and the strength of a large group.
To support its development, we are looking for our future Commercial Director. In co-management with the Technical Director, you will lead the company and drive its commercial development in French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland.
Commercial Director
You ensure, in co-management with the Technical Director, the overall management of the company in its commercial, administrative, financial and HR aspects. You are responsible for the sustainable growth of the company, its profitability and customer satisfaction, while ensuring good internal governance.
Co-management & governance
- Implement the strategy previously approved by the Board of Directors: operational deployment, allocation of human, material and financial resources.
- Conduct the company’s strategic analysis and propose directions for improving services and performance.
- Lead management meetings, represent the company to the Board.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
Commercial development & prospecting
- Actively develop the company’s reputation in French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland.
- Acquire new clients and maintain existing relationships: develop, present and negotiate offers.
- Manage the tender process, from costing to final submission.
- Negotiate with clients and suppliers, and monitor costs and margins.
- Ensure competitive intelligence
- Represent the company at events and exhibitions, and develop your network.
Management & organisation
- Recruit, supervise and motivate the sales team; set individual and collective objectives.
- Implement monitoring and reporting tools, evaluate performance and support skills development.
- Oversee administrative, contractual and financial aspects of projects and ensure smooth internal operations (purchasing, HR, accounting).
Administration & human resources
- Supervise HR processes with your HR partner: recruitment, integration, annual reviews, training, contract management.
- Ensure compliance with internal regulations and salary policy.
- Take overall responsibility and manage the company’s HR domain (support from Viteos)
Your profile
- HES engineer in electrical engineering or energy preferred
- Higher education in building technology or energy
- Proven experience (5 to 7 years) in prospecting, commercial development and client relationship management with a technical-commercial approach, ideally in energy storage fields
- Mastery of construction calculation methods, cost estimates and public and private tender procedures.
- Good knowledge of finishing works and/or building envelope.
- Skills in administrative, financial and contractual management (budgets, margins, indicators) and ability to manage a profit and loss account.
- Experience in management and team coordination, with a strong sense of strategic analysis.
- Natural leadership, sense of responsibility and managerial courage; rigour, analytical mind and quality orientation.
- Good interpersonal skills, fluent communication and strategic vision; proactivity in continuous improvement.
- Fluent French; a minimum B2 level in German is expected.
