Swiss Himmel is looking for several experienced Cutover Officers for a large-scale banking transformation programme with a leading financial institution in Switzerland.
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain detailed cutover runbooks covering activities, owners, timings, dependencies and completion criteria
- Coordinate application, business, migration, testing and infrastructure teams through rehearsals and production go-live
- Align data extraction, transformation, loading, validation and reconciliation with the cutover sequence
- Track readiness and run command-centre execution, escalating blockers with clear actions
- Consolidate evidence, risks and sign-offs for go/no-go decisions
- Drive lessons learned and support the handover to hypercare
What you bring
- Hands‑on data migration experience in a bank or complex organisation, from preparation through execution, validation and reconciliation
- Experience with dry runs, dress rehearsals or production migrations
- A background in cutover coordination, release management or technology delivery
- Confidence coordinating application owners, DBAs, infrastructure, middleware/MQ, scheduling and vendors
- The ability to stay structured and decisive under pressure
- Availability for planned evening and weekend cutover activities
- Nice to have: Avaloq or Temenos T24, multi-wave banking transformations, and experience with integrated runbooks and go/no-go governance
